Dr. Sandi’s yoga classes are rooted in hatha yoga and include a mixture of movement, breathwork and meditation. She prides herself on making her classes accessible, so everyone can find balance and connect with their body, mind and spirit.

The Power of the Pelvic Floor: Awaken Inner Vitality

The pelvic floor is more than just the muscular floor of the pelvis. It is the key to unlocking true core strength, the foundation of the chakra system, and the seat of vitality. It plays an essential role in the physical, subtle and spiritual aspects of all humans beings. Ancient yoga practices utilize the potential of the pelvic floor but these practices are largely misunderstood or overlooked in current western yoga culture.

This training will include all the basics of the pelvic floor including: anatomy and physiology, how it is essential to every breath and movement, and how its role is necessary for a well rounded yoga practice. We will explore yoga techniques to increase awareness of the subtle nature of the pelvic floor, how to address common conditions of the pelvic floor, and bandha practices to awaken dormant strength and vitality.

Virtual and in-person attendance available. Approved for CE by YA and IAYT.
